The Indian Health Service (IHS) Albuquerque Area is seeking qualified Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) to provide expired pharmaceutical reverse distributor services for three healthcare facilities. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) - Indian Health Service, Albuquerque Area - Offices: Albuquerque Indian Health Center, Santa Ana Health Center, Zia Health and Dental Clinic - Services Requested: - On-site reverse distribution of expired, damaged, recalled, or unusable pharmaceuticals, including controlled substances - Quarterly on-site visits for pharmaceutical inventory review and management - Controlled substance management and compliant destruction - Manufacturer credit recovery and reconciliation - Regulatory reporting and compliance with DEA, EPA, RCRA, DOT, and other federal/state regulations - Provision of an electronic tracking and reporting system - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must possess a valid DEA license - Must provide on-site pharmacy return specialist services - Only IEE or ISBEE firms are eligible; submission of the IHS IEE Representation Form is required - Compliance with the Buy Indian Act and relevant acquisition regulations is mandatory - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or commercial vendors are named in the opportunity - Period of Performance: - One-year base period with four one-year option periods - Four quarterly visits per year to each of the three facilities

This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only, issued on behalf of the Indian Health Service. This is not a solicitation for proposals or quotations. In accordance with the Buy Indian Act (25 U.S.C. § 47), the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), and the HHS Acquisition Regulation (HHSAR), the purpose of this notice is to identify and obtain information from qualified Indian Economic Enterprises (IEEs) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs) capable of providing reverse pharmacy services for expired pharmaceuticals.

Vendors designated as IEE or ISBEE firms who are capable of providing the required services must complete and submit the attached IHS Indian Economic Enterprise (IEE) Representation Form as part of the capability statement submission or proposal submission.
