Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) intends to issue a sole source contract to Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapid, IA, for Direction Finder (DF) 500 System, Radio Turner Panel (RTP) 4230, High Frequency (HF) 9500M System, and High-Speed Modem (HSM) 205, assemblies, subassemblies, software, technical data, and associated support for P-8A aircraft. This procurement is for an anticipated base year of approximately four (4) shipsets for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and two (2) option years for an estimated twenty seven (27) shipsets per year in support of emergent United States Navy (USN) and FMS requirements. Deliveries are anticipated to be completed 15 months after award. These requirements will be procured in accordance with the statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition under Title 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.103-1, "Only One Responsible Source and No other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements."
