NTIA/ITS Table Mountain Perimeter Fence Replacement and Installation

The Department of Commerce, through the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) and its Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS), is seeking a contractor to replace and install perimeter fencing at the Table Mountain Field Site in Longmont, Colorado. - Government Buyer: - Department of Commerce, National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA), Institute for Telecommunication Sciences (ITS), Office of Acquisition Management - Scope of Work: - Removal of existing barbed wire fencing and site preparation (clearing vegetation, debris, and old fencing) - Installation of approximately 1700 acres of new fencing: - 7-foot chain link fence with an additional 1-foot of 3-wire barbed wire on top (total height 8 feet) - Fence to use 2-inch mesh, No. 9 gauge galvanized chain link, and posts per CDOT regulation m-607-2 - Replacement of two cantilever vehicle gates: - 16-foot West gate - 28-foot North gate - Installation of two 4-foot walk-through gates - Placement of government-provided 'No Trespassing' signs along the fence - Notable Requirements: - Contractor must demonstrate experience with similar fence installations in remote locations - Technical approach, past performance, and price will be evaluated - All work must comply with specified state and federal standards - No specific OEMs or product part numbers are identified; all materials must meet regulatory and technical specifications - All technical details and requirements are provided in the Statement of Work (SOW) and solicitation attachments
