The Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, Albuquerque Area Office, is seeking small business sources for a major river improvement project in New Mexico. - Government Buyer: - Bureau of Reclamation, Upper Colorado Basin, Albuquerque Area Office - Project Scope: - Design-build services for the Lower San Acacia Reach Improvements (LSARI) Project on the Middle Rio Grande (River Mile 74 to 59.5) - Final design and construction of approximately 15 miles of river realignment - Major earthwork, excavation, cut/fill, grading, and channel shaping - Construction of new river channel alignment - Temporary and permanent access roads - Infrastructure connection, disconnection, and abandonment - Installation of riprap and erosion protection - Flow control structure installation - Water diversion and management during construction - Environmental and cultural compliance support, permitting, and monitoring - Vegetation restoration, seeding, live plantings, and 36-month revegetation monitoring - Postconstruction acceptance testing, as-built documentation, and training for Reclamation staff - Targeted at small businesses with technical expertise and bonding capability - No specific OEMs, vendors, products, or part numbers are identified - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Comprehensive design-build delivery (from engineering through construction and postconstruction support) - Emphasis on environmental compliance and long-term vegetation restoration
