Description

The Regional Executive Director of the Thompson Okanagan Region has offered replacement forest licences to the holders of the forest licences in the Merritt Timber Supply Area (TSA). The replacement licences have terms of 15 years, specify the same timber supply area, and have substantially the same timber rights as the licences they replace. The licences being replaced are held by Shackan Indian Band and Nooaitch Indian Band. This notice is issued in accordance with Section 15 of the Forest Act.
