Description
The City of Santa Maria is soliciting proposals from qualified consulting firms to provide professional engineering services for final design and preparation of Plans, Specifications, and Estimate (PS&E) for the Active Transportation Program (ATP) Cycle 7 Railroad Avenue / Depot Street Corridor Improvements project. The project includes design and construction of corridor improvements such as Class IV separated bikeway facilities, directional curb ramps, curb extensions and bulb-outs, and high-visibility crosswalks. The selected consultant will prepare a complete, biddable, and constructible PS&E package and provide related design support services to advance the project to Ready to List/advertisement, in accordance with City standards and Caltrans Local Assistance requirements. The solicitation uses qualifications-based selection procedures, and price is not an evaluation factor in ranking.
