The City of Fernie is seeking a qualified professional to review and update the Development Cost Charges (DCC) Bylaw. The work includes legislation review, land use projections, recommendations on DCC principles, identification and costing of potential DCC projects, advice on future Amenity Cost Charge program, preparation of a background report and new bylaw, hosting public open houses and stakeholder meetings, presentations to City Council, content development for the project webpage, and leading work for Ministry approval of the bylaw.
