The City of Pearland is seeking an annual contract for comprehensive custodial services across a wide range of city facilities and special events. - Government Buyer: - City of Pearland, City Secretary's Office - Scope of Services: - Routine cleaning at City Hall, libraries, recreation centers, public works, fire stations, animal control, sports complexes, and more - On-call and special event cleaning at city rental facilities and community centers - Annual floor cleaning at fire stations - Porter services for athletic complexes and community centers - Products and Consumables: - Vendors must supply all cleaning equipment, tools, and green-certified cleaning products - Required equipment includes: - Micromax 20B Automatic Scrubber or compatible model - Tennant T20 ride-on scrubber with ec-H2O Technology (recommended for certain areas) - Consumables include large quantities of toilet tissue, paper towels, trash liners (various sizes), hand soap, urinal screens, seat covers, and wax paper liners - Staffing and Compliance Requirements: - Minimum staffing ratio: one custodial personnel per 19,000 gross sq ft - Permanent employee assignments, uniforms, and photo ID required - All employees must pass background checks (no felonies, sex offenses, or theft-related convictions) - Vendor must maintain a staffed office for work order processing and provide after-hours answering service - Employee dishonesty insurance or equivalent coverage required - Notable Requirements: - Equipment compatibility and quality standards emphasized; no specific OEMs mandated but certain models recommended - City reserves the right to use other vendors if service quality is unsatisfactory - Regular reporting and compliance with city ordinances required
