Description
The City of Lancaster is soliciting proposals from qualified law firms and legal practitioners to provide specialized Planning, Housing, Environmental, and Tort Defense Legal Services on an as-needed basis. The selected firm(s) will serve as special counsel to support various city departments and authorities by providing legal advice, representation, document preparation, regulatory analysis, litigation support, and related legal services. Services may include land use and zoning matters, housing and affordable housing programs, CEQA and environmental compliance, real estate and development transactions, and tort defense litigation involving municipal operations. Contracts may be awarded to one or multiple firms based on qualifications and expertise, with services performed under the direction of the City Attorney and potentially requiring expedited responses.
