The project involves structural upgrades, drainage improvements including culvert replacements and ditching, road widening, sight line improvements, construction of passing lane pullouts, and gravel surfacing for approximately 7.2 km of the existing Battlecreek Road in the West Block of Cypress Hills Interprovincial Park. Construction is expected to commence in September 2026 and be substantially completed by October 31, 2026. Tender documents are anticipated to be released in July 2026. Participation requires registration and bidding through the Government of Saskatchewan's GEM system.
