This opportunity involves the repair and restoration of a 2010 Pierce Contender Pumper Fire Apparatus for the Department of the Army at Fort Jackson. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Army, Fort Jackson Department of Emergency Services Fire Department - Army Logistics Readiness Center at Fort Jackson, Mission Installation Contracting Command (MICC) - OEMs and Vendors: - Pierce Manufacturing (OEM of the fire apparatus) - Products/Services Requested: - Professional automotive body repair and refinishing services for a Pierce Contender Pumper - Replacement and installation of OEM or equivalent parts, including: - Rub rails - Fender crown - Two Gortite roll-up doors - Rear passenger grab handle - Rear passenger wheel liner - Welding, sheet metal repair, bodywork, sanding - Painting, refinishing, and buffing to match existing paint - Replacement graphics and striping matching Army/Command livery - Estimated 204 parts replaced and 57 labor hours - Unique or Notable Requirements: - All replacement parts must be OEM (Pierce) or functional equivalents meeting Pierce specifications - All repairs must meet OEM standards to ensure mission capability and safety - Services must be performed within 40 miles of Fort Jackson, SC - Deliverables due within 30 days of contract award; ongoing quality control reporting required

Description

The Contractor shall provide services for all necessary labor, parts, and equipment to perform the following basic services. All work shall be performed to Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) standards to ensure the vehicle remains mission capable.
