The Food and Drug Administration (FDA), under the Department of Health and Human Services, is seeking to renew and modernize its Genomics Information Management System (GIMS) through the procurement of Scientific Laboratory Information Management System (SLIMS) software licenses and support services. - Government Buyer: - Food and Drug Administration (FDA), Office of Acquisitions and Grants Services - Contracting Officer: Narissa Charles - OEM Highlight: - Agilent Technologies is the OEM for the SLIMS software - Products Requested: - 7 Premium Named User SLIMS Licenses - 10 Standard Named User SLIMS Licenses - 72 Basic Named User SLIMS Licenses - 2 SLIMS Server Licenses - Services Requested: - Engineering Integration Support to ensure seamless interface with FDA systems, including cloud-based and AWS environments - Modernization tasks to upgrade the current Agilent SLIMS infrastructure to version 6.9, including migration of slimsgate-fda, SLIMS API changes, and adoption of Camel 3 and Log4j2 - Notable Requirements: - Licenses and upgrades must not disrupt ongoing genomic data processing - Annual training and compliance requirements are included - Delivery of licenses required within 30 days of award, with ongoing support and modernization throughout the contract term - The procurement directly supports the FDA's Whole Genome Sequencing Program for genomic data collection and analysis

Description

The purpose of this requirement is to renew Scientific Laboratory Information Management System (SLIMS) User and Server licenses to continue use of the Genomics Information Management System (GIMS) in support of FDA’s Whole Genome Sequencing Program (WGS) used for genomic data collection and analysis. Upgrade infrastructure processing GIMS application in support of FDA’s Whole Genome Sequencing Program (WGS) business needs for genomic data collection and analysis.
