Argonne National Laboratory, under the U.S. Department of Energy, is seeking suppliers for carbon steel drums and large packaging containers to support its Waste Management Operations. - Government Buyer: - Argonne National Laboratory, operated by UChicago Argonne, LLC - Waste Management Operations, Nuclear, Waste, and Site Services Division - Products/Services Requested: - Carbon steel drums (DOT metal drums, Quality Level B) - Large packaging containers (Quality Level C) - All packaging must comply with Federal and UN regulations and ASME NQA-1 quality assurance standards - Engineering drawings, material traceability, testing procedures, and Certificates of Conformance are required - Quantities and part numbers are referenced in attachments (Metal Drums List, Other Containers List), but not specified in the summary - Notable Requirements: - Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) structure with a base year and two option years - Compliance with Buy American Act for country of origin - Documentation demonstrating technical and quality assurance compliance is mandatory - Offerors must provide completed forms and quality documentation - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments

EVALUATION IS BASED ON LOWEST PRICE, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE CRITERIA 

Argonne National Laboratory is seeking carbon steel drum packaging and other large packaging containers for the Waste Management (WM) Operations of Nuclear, Waste, and Site Services (NWS) Division.

Please review the Statement of Work dated May 11, 2026  for all required technical capabilities, and provide our documentation and evidence to support the offer's adherence to the requirements no later than 12pm CDT on June 26, 2026.

We will need a response to the following documentation and considerations: 

Completed and signed ANL-70 Request for Quotation List of capabilities aligned with the Technical Requirements within the Statement of Work and supporting specification and QA documentation Country of Origin*  Average Lead time from released call to final delivery to Argonne, FOB Destination, Lemont IL, 60439 Completed and signed ANL-70B Reps and Certs Price Lists completed in full, along side any price documents the offeror intends to share. Please note, BOTH documents should be completed in full and all other pricing can be supported by offeror-specific documentation

*Country of Origin should be consistent with the definition stated in FAR 52.225-I for Buy American-Supplies, in which "the cost of its components mined, produced, or manufactured in the United States exceeds 60 percent of the cost of all its components, except that the percentage will be 65 percent for items delivered in calendar years 2024 through 2028 and 75 percent for items delivered starting in calendar year 2029. Components of foreign origin of the same class or kind as those that the agency determines are not mined, produced, or manufactured in sufficient and reasonably available commercial quantities of a satisfactory quality are treated as domestic. Components of unknown origin are treated as foreign."
