Description
The purpose of this sources sought is to gain knowledge of potential sources for this requirement including interested Small Business sources. This notice is for planning purposes only. This noitce does not constitue an invitation to bid or a request for proposals/quotes. All interested parties should respond.
Scope: The Montana National Guard has a requirement for the purchase of up to 7 mobile marksmanship training simulator sytems (MMTS) for completion of table II qualification in accordance with TC 3-20.40 "Training and Qualification - Individual Weapons" and applicable regualtions. The requirement will also provide weapon familiarization and training to enhance lethality and readiness while avoiding the costs associated with live ammo.
This sources sought will simultaneiously be posted using GSA e-buy to provide a better understanding of available solutions and help determine the way forward for the acquisiton strategy.
The government encourages anyone to provide a response to this posting by providing the below information.
1--Positive statement of intent to summit a proposal/quote
2--Wheter the product being offered is considered commercial or non-commercial (the Government is responsible for the determination but welcomes any information or analysis).
3--Small business status for NAICS 335999. If your company has sold these products using other NAICS codes please provide the NAICS.
4--If you have an active Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDC) or Governementwide Acquisition Contract (GWAC) to sell your product.
5--Approval or evaluation for the system to be used by the Army or ARNG as a training aids, devices, simulators, and simulations (TADSS) for table II qualification and general military weapons training. Please provide the memo, details, or current POC for this approval/evaluation.
6-Ability to communicate or generate data for Army Training Information System (ATIS) including Learning Record Stors (LRS) and xAPI capabilities and functions. This was formerly Digital Training Management System (DTMS) till its replacement in Novemenber 2025.
7--List of army weapons currently available for use in training simulations and table II qualification to include M17/18, M4, M7, M26, Mk 19, M250, etc.
8-Any other information or details that would assist the Government in its decision making process for this requirement.
