Description

The Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (DEEP) is soliciting quotes for the eradication of invasive plants across 61 acres of forestland in Compartment 4 of Nye-Holman State Forest in Tolland, CT. The treatment sites are accessible from Patten Road and the Nye-Holman Archery Range Trail parking lot. The successful vendor will traverse the forest on foot and/or UTV, applying herbicide selectively to target plants. Proposed treatment times are summer/fall of 2026 with a follow-up treatment in spring/summer of 2027.
