This opportunity seeks suppliers for a five-year Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) to provide medical and specialty gases, dry ice, gas-related equipment, and associated services to multiple Department of Defense (DoD) medical research facilities. - Government Buyer: - Defense Health Agency (DHA), Medical R&D Contracting Division 1, on behalf of Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), USAMRIID, USAMRICD, USAARL, USARIEM, and USAFMES - Products and Quantities: - Wide range of compressed and bulk medical grade gases (oxygen, nitrogen, carbon dioxide, helium, argon, hydrogen, specialty mixtures) - Laboratory and specialty gases in various grades and cylinder sizes (no specific part numbers; identified by gas type, grade, and CGA spec) - Dry ice pellets (up to 1,200 lbs/month at WRAIR; 118,000 lbs/year at Fort Detrick; 3,600 lbs/year at USAMRICD; 550 lbs/month at USARIEM) - Bulk liquid nitrogen (e.g., 19,680 liters/year at some locations) - Gas-related equipment (dewars, telemetry systems, manifolds, gauges) - Cylinder rental, maintenance, calibration, and replacement services - Services: - Emergency delivery within 24 hours - Preventive maintenance and calibration by certified Field Service Engineers using OEM parts - Telemetry monitoring of tanks - Pickup/delivery of full and empty cylinders (leased and government-owned) - Monthly reporting of purchases and deliveries - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Deliveries to multiple DoD research sites across several states - Compliance with ISO standards and regulatory cylinder testing - Timely emergency response and delivery - Cylinder identification, tracking, and maintenance - 100% small business set-aside under NAICS 325120 - Maximum BPA value of $1,783,595.46; individual call orders capped at $350,000 - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or brands are mandated, but Chart Industries is referenced for dewar equipment - **Potential for both customer-leased and government-owned cylinders - **No specific part numbers for most gases; equipment part numbers may be specified upon request

Description

This requirement is for a Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) in which orders may be placed for a variety of compressed and bulk medical grade gas, laboratory and specialty gases, gas-related equipment, supply and services, dry ice pellets, for customer leased and/or government owned cylinders in support of the Defense Health Agency/US Army Medical Research and Development Command and other research labs as needed.
