Description of Requirements: This pre-solicitation notice is for the motorization of an existing 30-foot, 3,000 lb. manual sliding gate at an Installation Access Control Point. The contractor shall furnish and install a complete, turn-key automated gate system.

The required supplies include a heavy-duty, commercial-grade electric gate operator (motor), a compatible positive drive rail or chain drive mechanism, and an automated locking system compliant with UFC 4-022-01/03. The system must feature a hard wired "OPEN/CLOSE/STOP" control station, a battery backup system capable of 50 cycles, and a manual override. All installed components must be new and outdoor-rated.

Services include all electrical work, trenching, and conduit installation, as well as system calibration.
