The Port of Long Beach is seeking qualified professional consultants to provide on-call project controls support services for its multi-year capital improvement program. - Government Buyer: - Port of Long Beach, Engineering Bureau, Project Controls Division - Services Requested: - On-call project controls support services for planning, design, construction, and closeout phases - Master scheduling support, including integrated cost-loaded schedules and scenario planning using Primavera P6 - Construction scheduling support, including schedule review, site visits, delay analysis, and recovery recommendations - Cost control support: budget development, expenditure tracking, forecasting, and benchmarking - Cost estimating support: independent estimate validation, detailed cost estimates, bid analysis, escalation prediction, and historical data maintenance - Project health reporting and program-level analysis - Business systems support and development for platforms such as Oracle Unifier, Primavera P6, PowerBI, MUNIS, Tenrox, SharePoint, and SQL Server Reporting Services - Notable Requirements: - Ability to support both state and federally funded projects - Compliance with federal and state grant provisions - Services provided via task orders on an as-needed basis - Up to four contracts may be awarded, with a total aggregate value of up to $12 million over three years - No specific OEMs or hardware products are named, but expertise with major project controls software platforms is required

The Port of Long Beach is undertaking a significant, multi-year capital improvement program involving a wide range of infrastructure and construction projects. To support the successful planning, delivery, and oversight of these projects, the Port is seeking qualified professional consultants to provide on-call project controls support services. These services include scheduling and cost control support functions, cost estimating, project health reporting, business systems support and development, and program-level support, guidance, analysis, and reporting for projects in various stages of delivery including planning, design, construction, and closeout. The Port expects to award more than one contract from this procurement, with contracts expected to be for a period of three years and an aggregate contract value of up to $12 million.
