Description
This solicitation is for the removal of loose or potentially unstable disjointed spalled/exfoliated bedrock fragments and talus above and around both tunnel portal highwalls at Pammel State Park in Madison County, Iowa. The work includes manual, mechanical, or chemical (non-explosive) scaling methods, removal and disposal of all spoil resulting from the operation, and all loose material between the zone of influence and the tunnel pavement. Blasting is not permitted. Personnel must have experience in rock slope stabilization and scaling, with specific qualifications required for foremen and workers.
