Wakulla County, Florida, is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms to provide professional services including planning, design, permitting, engineering, and Construction Engineering Inspection (CEI) for an elevated aluminum platform at Lift Station 6 located at 548 Mashes Sands Road, Panacea, FL 32346. The project involves altering the current lift station footprint to include an elevated aluminum platform, stairway, and site fencing. The design must meet FEMA floodplain requirements, withstand hydro-dynamic forces from storm surge, wind loads, and include relocation of power and control cabinets to the platform. The platform will provide safe access for personnel. Interested firms currently under contract with Wakulla County pursuant to RFQ 2022-19 for Continuing Professional Consulting Services are invited to submit proposals.
