Description
The Coast Guard is removing the existing drawbridge operation regulation for the SR 865 Bridge across Big Carlos Pass at Estero Island and Black Island, Florida. The drawbridge was replaced with a fixed bridge in April 2026, making the previous operating regulation no longer applicable or necessary. This final rule updates the Code of Federal Regulations by removing the drawbridge operation schedule regulation. The change does not affect waterway or land traffic and is effective June 12, 2026.
