Description

The South Dakota Department of Transportation (SDDOT) seeks consulting services to support its assumption of full responsibility for compliance with NEPA and other Federal environmental laws related to transportation programs in South Dakota. The consultant will prepare, facilitate, participate in, and document meetings between FHWA and SDDOT, expected monthly for at least 18 months. The scope includes developing responses to FHWA comments, reviewing and revising environmental processes and manuals, and developing Quality Assurance/Quality Control processes and training programs to meet federal requirements. SDDOT requests Letters of Intent from firms with experience in NEPA Assignment and related environmental program modernization. Up to three firms will be selected to submit full proposals, with a contract awarded based on evaluation criteria.
