Ontario County is seeking professional environmental consulting services for a Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment and Pre-Demolition Hazardous Building Materials Survey at Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) as part of the SPRING Building project. - Government Buyer: - Ontario County Purchasing Department, on behalf of the Planning Department - Project Scope: - Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment for the SPRING Building project at FLCC - Pre-demolition hazardous building materials survey for three existing buildings slated for demolition - Environmental sampling and laboratory testing for hazardous substances including asbestos, lead, PCBs, petroleum, solvents, and other hazardous materials in soil, groundwater, and building materials - Interpretation of laboratory results and recommendations for demolition planning, material handling, and future construction - Coordination with County and FLCC staff, documentation of sampling, laboratory results, and GIS data deliverables - Notable Requirements: - Vendor must have experience in hazardous material sampling, testing, and interpretation - Deliverables must include comprehensive documentation and GIS data - Contract term is one year, with up to two one-year renewals possible - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Evaluation criteria include experience, responsiveness, cost, and methodology

Description

Ontario County is soliciting proposals for a Phase 2 Environmental Site Assessment for the SPRING Building at Finger Lakes Community College. The project includes sampling, testing, and interpretation of environmental hazards such as asbestos, lead, PCB, petroleum, solvents, and other hazardous materials. The scope covers hazardous building materials survey, laboratory testing, interpretation and recommendations, and additional services. Proposals must be submitted electronically or in sealed hard copy by July 10, 2026, with a pre-bid meeting scheduled for June 18, 2026. The award will be based on experience, responsiveness, cost, and methodology.
