The Department of Veterans Affairs, through the Seattle VA Medical Center and Network Contracting Office 20, is soliciting proposals for a comprehensive facility-wide replacement of patient ceiling lift systems. - Government Buyer: - Department of Veterans Affairs, Seattle VA Medical Center, Network Contracting Office 20 - OEMs and Vendors: - Guldmann (brand name or equal specified for patient lifts) - Products/Services Requested: - Removal of 146 existing patient lift systems - Installation of new overhead patient lift systems (primarily Guldmann GH3+ or equivalent) - Multiple configurations and capacities (primarily 825lb, some 605lb) - Coverage across Emergency, Community Living Center, Oncology, Med Surg, SCI, and Radiology departments - Quantities per configuration range from 1 to 22 units, totaling over 130 new lift systems - 146 patient slings - WA Engineering Stamp for compliance - Services include: - Design, procurement, delivery, and project management - Third-party structural engineering verification - Installation and phased project execution (no more than 4 rooms at a time) - Basic troubleshooting training for at least 2 staff per department - Warranty coverage of at least three years - Compliance with safety certifications and detailed technical specifications - Unique/Notable Requirements: - All lifts must be new, manufacturer safety certified, and meet a minimum weight rating of 825 lbs - Internal scale and training modules required for certain systems - Installation must be coordinated with VA POC and completed within 180 days ARO - Punch-list remediation within 10-30 days depending on parts availability - Brand name or equal to Guldmann is acceptable, allowing for equivalent products
