FPC Alderson, under the Federal Bureau of Prisons (Department of Justice), is seeking vendors to supply and install Copeland TempTrak Enterprise temperature monitoring systems for critical storage areas. - Government Buyer: - Federal Prison Camp Alderson (FPC Alderson), Federal Bureau of Prisons, Department of Justice - OEMs and Vendors: - Copeland (OEM, manufacturer of TempTrak systems) - Products/Services Requested: - Two Copeland TempTrak Enterprise temperature monitoring systems (brand-name only, no substitutes) - One system for Health Services (medication refrigerators, freezers, controlled storage) - One system for Food Service (perishable food storage, refrigerators, freezers, walk-ins) - New hardware and sensors: wireless temperature monitoring sensors, probes for various environments, mounting hardware, local displays - TempTrak Enterprise server software or approved cloud-based deployment - Secure data storage, audit trails, real-time monitoring, alarms, automated alerts, 24/7 remote access - Installation, system configuration, calibration, validation, and initial user training - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Strictly brand-name only for Copeland TempTrak; no equivalents accepted - Installation must comply with BOP IT security and Copeland OEM specifications - Vendors must be authorized to supply/install Copeland TempTrak and provide a capability statement

Copeland TempTrak™ Enterprise Temperature Monitoring Systems FPC Alderson, West Virginia

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. This notice is issued solely for market research and planning purposes. No solicitation exists at this time, and responses are not offers that can be accepted by the Government to form a contract. The Government will not pay for information requested nor will it compensate any respondent for any cost incurred in developing information provided to the Government.

1. PURPOSE

The Federal Prison Camp Alderson (FPC ALD), Alderson, WV, is conducting market research to identify qualified vendors capable of supplying and installing Copeland TempTrak™ Enterprise remote temperature monitoring systems.

This requirement is BRAND‑NAME ONLY.  No substitutes or equivalent systems will be accepted.

Two separate and complete TempTrak systems are required:

Health Services Department – Monitoring of medication refrigerators, freezers, and controlled storage areas. Food Service Department – Monitoring of perishable subsistence storage including refrigerators, freezers, walk‑ins, and other temperature‑controlled units.

All components must be new, delivered to FPC Alderson, and installed in accordance with BOP IT security requirements and Copeland OEM specifications.

2. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS

Vendors must be able to provide a complete, functional installation of the Copeland TempTrak™ Enterprise system, including:

Hardware & Sensors

Wireless temperature monitoring sensors (900 MHz) Probes suitable for refrigeration, freezing, and ambient environments Mounting hardware, wiring, and installation materials Local displays (if applicable for medication areas)

Software & Network Requirements

TempTrak Enterprise server software or approved cloud‑based deployment Secure, centralized data storage Time‑stamped audit trails and reporting functions used for regulatory compliance (e.g., Joint Commission, CDC vaccine storage guidelines, HACCP applications)

Monitoring & Alerting

Real‑time continuous temperature tracking Configurable high/low threshold alarms Automated email/text alerts 24/7 remote monitoring access capability

Installation & Integration

Full physical installation System configuration and network integration as permitted under BOP IT security rules Calibration and validation of sensors Initial user training for Health Services and Food Service staff
