Description
This solicitation is for expressions of interest (EOI) only for the renovation of the second floor of Rathaus Hall at Queens College, approximately 14,000 sq ft, including associated work on the facade, rooftop, cellar, and first floors. The project aims to create specialized classrooms supporting active, participatory, and lab-style learning environments, including new studio classrooms with sprung flooring, lab-style classrooms for set design and costume fabrication, a traditional classroom, a seminar/meeting room, and a student lounge. The successful low bidder must execute a Project Labor Agreement (PLA) and all subcontractors must also agree to be bound by the PLA. Bidder qualification packages will be reviewed before selecting contractors to bid, and finalized construction/bid documents will be distributed to qualified contractors.
