The USDA Forest Service, Caribou-Targhee National Forest (Targhee National Forest, Intermountain Zone), is seeking bids for bear resistant dumpsters for use in grizzly bear habitat management. - Procurement Details: - 22 bear resistant steel dumpsters required - Each dumpster must have a minimum 4 cubic yard capacity - Must be constructed from American-made 10-gauge steel - Specific dimensions: max 90" wide, 60" deep, 65" tall - Features: dual front load, gravity release lid latches, no drain hole, zinc primer coated, brown powder-coat or TGIC polyester exterior finish, lifting pockets - IGBC (Interagency Grizzly Bear Committee) certification is mandatory for all dumpsters - Delivery Requirements: - Delivery to Saint Anthony Work Center, St. Anthony, Idaho - Vendor must coordinate delivery with USFS for forklift offloading - Delivery must occur Monday through Friday - Notable Requirements: - Only IGBC-approved products are eligible - American-made steel is required - No deviations from the Statement of Work specifications are allowed - No specific OEMs or part numbers are listed; vendors must verify IGBC approval - Acquisition is a total small business set-aside under NAICS 332439
