The Indian Health Service (IHS), through its Navajo Area Office and Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC), is seeking to contract Registered Nurse (RN) services to support operating room and recovery functions at NNMC and associated facilities. - Government Buyer: - Indian Health Service (IHS) - Navajo Area Office - Northern Navajo Medical Center (NNMC) - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) or commercial vendors are named; this is a services-only procurement. - Products/Services Requested: - Registered Nurse (RN) Operating Room/Recovery Nursing Services - Perioperative nursing support for day surgery, endoscopy, dental, general surgery, OB/GYN, and podiatry cases - Services include patient admission, pre-op assessment, intraoperative support, post-anesthesia care, and endoscopy nursing - Ten (10) RNs required, with estimated hours per six-month period: 1,250 regular hours, 100 call-back hours, and 600 on-call hours per nurse - Unique or Notable Requirements: - Nurses must have at least 2 years of operating room experience - Valid nursing licenses and certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS - Non-personal health care services; contractors must provide medical liability insurance - 100% Indian Small Business Economic Enterprise (ISBEE) set-aside - Compliance with Indian Health Service policies and business associate agreements - Contract includes a base period plus four option periods, each six months in duration (up to 36 months total)
