The U.S. Air Force Ogden Air Logistics Complex at Hill Air Force Base, Utah, is seeking sources for a comprehensive industrial laundry and personal protective clothing (PPC) service contract. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC), Hill Air Force Base, Utah - Products/Services Requested: - Leasing, cleaning, repairing, replacing, and tracking of a wide range of personal protective clothing (PPC) - Weekly pickup and delivery of PPC to multiple drop stations across Hill AFB - Inventory control, bi-annual inventories, and monthly reporting - Types of PPC include: - Lab coats (various types, including ESD control, flame resistant, acid/caustic resistant, clean room) - Smocks (general purpose, wrap-around, cotton) - Coveralls (general purpose, acid resistant, welding/flame resistant, blasters, insulated, clean room, arc rated) - Shop coats, aprons, bunny suits, hoods, shirts, pants, towels, socks, undershorts, undershirts, shop towels, door mats, shop mops - Notable Requirements: - Compliance with the Berry Amendment (U.S. origin for textiles) - Adherence to OSHA standards (US Code 29 CFR 1910) for protective clothing - Compliance with USAF Technical Order 00-25-203 for clean room garments - State permitting and environmental, safety, and security compliance - Performance-based contract with weekly service schedules and detailed reporting - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments - The contract is anticipated as a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) agreement

Description

This is not a solicitation at this time, but rather a Sources Sought to determine potential providers of industrial laundry and personal-protective clothing delivery services for a for diverse user-base at the Ogden Air Logistics Complex (OO-ALC) at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. Information gathered in this process will be utilized in the procurement planning phase of this aquisition.

A 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract is anticipated to be awarded in the first half of the 2027 calendar-year. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) Code is 812332, which has a corresponding Small Business size limit of $47-million of annual company revenue.

Projected Scope:  On a contractually established schedule, the provider will provide all neccessary personnel, equipment, material, supervision, facilities, transportation, and other items and services necessary to provide a diverse inventory of personal protection clothing to drop stations located throughout Hill AFB in a clean and serviceable condition.

A draft copy of the Performance Work Statement is attached below. It includes references to the clothing items currently provided.

Note: The contract will require compliance with the Berry Ammendment, and the service provider must be properly permitted by the State if Utah. All clothing involved will be required to meet or exceed standards of US Code 29 CFR 1910, and Clean Room garments will need to meet specifications of USAF Technical Order 00-25-203.
