The Portsmouth Naval Shipyard (NAVSEA), part of the Department of the Navy, is seeking procurement of consumable liquid argon dewars and associated services. - Government Buyer: - Department of the Navy - NAVSEA - Portsmouth Naval Shipyard - Products Requested: - 2 consumable liquid argon dewars - Capacity: 230-300 liters each - CGA 580 fitting - Capable of supplying gaseous argon at minimum 30 scfm and pressures between 58-100 psig - Mounted on integral platform with casters for mobility - Argon purity must meet CGA G-11.1-2023 QVL C standards - Services Requested: - Startup training for shipyard personnel - Maintenance, repair, and replacement services - Technician response within 24 hours - Repair within 48 hours - Replacement within 72 hours if repair is not possible - Unique Requirements: - Pressure vessel certifications and cleanliness documentation required - Security and access controls for contractor personnel and vehicles - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors named; opportunity open to manufacturers of liquid argon dewars meeting specifications - Period of Performance: - 12 months base period with four 1-year option periods
