San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) is seeking qualified firms to provide comprehensive moving and relocation services across its campuses and facilities. - Government Buyer: - San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD), Texas - Scope of Work: - Moving and relocating office furniture, computer workstations, records management systems, laboratory supplies and equipment, boxes, and general office/classroom equipment - Handling and transport of specialty/high-value items such as grand pianos, safes, oversized equipment, laboratory equipment requiring specialized handling, audiovisual equipment, and gym/fitness equipment - Disassembly and reassembly of furniture and installation of modular systems - Temporary storage solutions, including on-site pallet and trailer storage, and off-site storage (up to 5,000 sq ft) - Provision of all supervision, personnel, equipment, vehicles, supplies, and packing materials - Coordination with SJCCD IT and facilities staff; compliance with all federal, state, and local codes - Damage repair responsibility for any property or equipment damaged during moves - Products and Materials Requested: - Wide range of packing materials (various sizes of boxes, cartons, anti-static bags, packing tape, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, labels) - Protective materials (masonite floor protection, corner guards, wall coverings, painters tape, duct tape) - Rental equipment (packing blankets, dollies, panel carts, trucks, trailers) - Services Requested: - Labor for supervisors, coordinators, movers, packers, drivers, furniture installers (regular and overtime rates) - Specialty moving services (regular and overtime rates) - Pre-move planning, cost estimation, and move scheduling - Delivery of packing materials to all SJCCD locations - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all necessary resources and may subcontract specialty moving services, but remains responsible for all work - Insurance or bonding required for stored goods - Pricing must be firm for the initial term, with annual adjustments allowed based on inflation indices - Contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation.
