The U.S. Air Force's 316th Fire & Emergency Services at Joint Base Andrews is seeking a contractor to provide annual performance testing and inspection services for its firefighting vehicles. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Air Force, 316th Fire & Emergency Services, Joint Base Andrews - Point of Contact: TSgt Pedro Muina - Services Requested: - Annual performance testing and inspection of fire apparatus, including engines, quints, and tankers - Testing covers vehicle components such as pumps, aerial devices, electrical systems, braking, and safety systems - Each CLIN corresponds to a specific vehicle (Q74, E741, E742, E743, T74) with one unit of testing per year - Comprehensive inspections in accordance with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1911 standards - Retesting of failed items required within 60 days at no additional cost - Contractor must provide all labor, equipment, materials, permits, and manage scheduling and reporting - Testing must be conducted within 50 miles of Joint Base Andrews - Unique Requirements: - Strict compliance with NFPA 1911 and manufacturer guidelines - Testing results will inform maintenance and repair actions to sustain fleet readiness - Option years extend the contract for up to five years - OEMs and Vendors: - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation - Products/Part Numbers: - No specific products or part numbers are listed; services only

Description

The purpose of this contract is to establish a structured testing process to verify the reliability and mechanical integrity of the firefighting vehicles. Testing will be conducted in alignment with National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 1911 and other applicable standards, including manufacturer guidelines and local regulations. The results will inform maintenance and repair actions to sustain fleet readiness and ensure continued operational effectiveness.

5 CLINS, one for each Fire Engine Vehicle.

Base + 4 option years.

Responses will be posted via an amendment to this solicitation.
