The USDA Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Plant Materials Center is soliciting quotations for a self-propelled plot combine harvester with bagging unit, brand name or equal to Zurn Plot Harvester. - Government Buyer: - United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Service, Plant Materials Center - OEMs and Vendors: - Zurn (referenced as the brand name standard) - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) self-propelled plot combine harvester base machine - Diesel engine (minimum 52 kW), hydrostatic 4WD drive, enclosed cab for two persons - Must meet EPA Tier 4 Final or Stage 5 emissions standards - Cutting platform/header (minimum 1.5 m width), threshing drum, multi-step cleaning system, pneumatic grain conveyor, grain tank (min. 700 liters), cleanout features - Accessories: fire extinguisher, rear-view camera, tool kit - One (1) bagging unit with minimum two outlets and platform for individual plot samples - One (1) set of additional/spare bottom sieves (hole sizes: 8 mm, 10 mm, 12 mm, 16 mm) - One (1) day of on-site operator and maintenance training by a qualified technician - Shipping, handling, import fees, and delivery to Pullman, WA - Unique or Notable Requirements: - "Brand Name or Equal" to Zurn Plot Harvester; alternatives must meet or exceed all technical specifications - Delivery required within 180 days of award - Minimum 24-month warranty from delivery and acceptance - Training must cover operation, maintenance, cleanout, and weighing/data collection system - Small business set-aside under NAICS 333111 (Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing)

Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12FPC326Q0023 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) a Self-propelled Plot Combine Harvester with Bagging Unit.  Brand Name or Equal to Zurn Plot Harvester, See Attachment 1 for Salient Characteristic and requirement.  

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333111-Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing.   The small business size standard is 1250 Employees.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
