Description

This Request for Proposal (RFP) aims to establish a contract for Financial Auditing Services with qualified firms of licensed certified public accountants. The services are to be provided pursuant to Florida laws including Florida Statute 218.39 and the City’s Charter. The auditor will express an opinion on the fair presentation of the City's basic financial statements, combining and individual fund and account group financial statements and schedules in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Governmental Accounting Standards Board (GASB) reporting requirements. The auditor is also required to audit and prepare supporting schedules contained in the Annual Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (ACFR).
