Escambia County is seeking bids for the Myrtle Grove Elementary Outfall stormwater infrastructure project to improve drainage and system reliability along 62nd Avenue. - Government Buyer: - Escambia County, Purchasing Department, Office of Purchasing - Project Scope: - Construction of approximately 1,400 linear feet of enclosed stormwater conveyance infrastructure from Myrtle Grove Elementary School Pond to Jackson Street - Installation of concrete driveways, minor utility and sidewalk adjustments, and milling/resurfacing of 62nd Avenue - Stormwater system improvements to enhance hydraulic efficiency and provide controlled emergency overflow - Key Products and Materials: - 1,338 linear feet of 24" Reinforced Concrete Pipe (RCP) - 171 linear feet of 30" RCP - 12 Type C and 3 Type D ditch bottom inlets - 1 pond overflow structure, 1 storm manhole, and various inlet connections - 344 square yards of 4" fiber reinforced concrete driveway - 5,047 square yards of milling and resurfacing (asphalt) - 2,763 square yards of centipede sod (staked) - Water service transfers, water meter relocations, and up to 150 linear feet of 4" PVC waterline replacement - Notable Requirements: - All work must comply with Escambia County Technical Specifications and the latest ECUA Engineering Manual - Required certifications: Escambia County Business License, State Contractors License, Underground Utilities License (if applicable), and Work Zone Safety Traffic Supervisor Certifications - Substantial completion required within 150 days from Notice to Proceed, with 30 additional days for final completion - No specific OEMs or proprietary vendors are named; standard construction materials and methods are specified - Major line items include mobilization, maintenance of traffic, clearing, earthwork, pipe installation, concrete work, and utility adjustments

This is a formal Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Myrtle Grove Elementary Outfall project in Escambia County, Florida. The project involves the construction of approximately 1,400 linear feet of enclosed stormwater conveyance infrastructure along 62nd Avenue from the Myrtle Grove Elementary School Pond to the intersection of Jackson Street and 62nd Street.
