Description
The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has been awarded the Supporting America’s School Infrastructure (SASI) grant by the U.S. Department of Education (USDE) to address challenges related to school facilities across Pennsylvania. PDE seeks to build internal capacity, collect reliable school facility condition data from high-need local education agencies (LEAs), and provide technical assistance to support infrastructure needs. This Request for Proposal (RFP) invites professional services contractors to provide architectural and engineering services for K–12 public school facility condition assessments for participating SASI LEAs. The work includes on-site evaluations, analysis of major facility systems, identification of deficiencies, and development of cost estimates and recommendations, all to be completed within federal timelines.
