This opportunity seeks industry input for a major radar system initiative supporting homeland defense: - Government Buyer: - Department of the Air Force - Air Force Materiel Command - Air Force Life Cycle Management Center, Electronic Systems (FA2204 THTR BTTL CNTRL AFLCMC/HBD) - Scope of Request: - Planning, procurement, delivery, installation, integration, testing, and fielding of a complete Over-the-Horizon Radar (OTHR) Receive sub-system - Integration of the Receive sub-system into a larger operational OTHR system - System to be based on a Government-Defined Architecture - Involvement of Government-selected industry partners for various components and/or Receive and Transmit sub-systems - Includes Command and Control (C2) and sensor software - Products/Services Requested: - Full lifecycle services for the OTHR Receive sub-system - No specific part numbers, OEMs, or quantities provided - Notable Requirements: - Emphasis on integration with other system components and software - Focus on operational readiness and fielding of the system - Industry feedback sought for all phases from planning to fielding - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the request

Description

The Request for Information focuses on planning, procurement, delivery, installation, integration, testing, and fielding of a complete OTHR Receive sub-system as part of an operational OTHR system. For RFI purposes the proposed OTHR system will be based on a Government-Defined Architecture and consist of Government selected industry partners for various components and/or Receive and Transmit sub-systems, including C2 and sensor software.
