The U.S. Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (AECW) at Camp Atterbury, Indiana, is seeking sources for the supply, delivery, assembly, and installation of three interconnected wire mesh warehouse cages. - Government Buyer: - U.S. Army, Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (AECW) - Products/Services Requested: - Three wire mesh warehouse cages (Navy Cage, DIA Cage, AECW Excess Cage) - Each cage features 10.5 ft height, 10-gauge wire mesh, full wire mesh ceiling, one 4'x8' sliding door with keyed cylinder lock - Specific dimensions for each cage; all anchored to vertical support I-Beams and concrete pillars - Warranty: Minimum 1-year manufacturer and 1-year workmanship warranty - Submittals: CAD/shop drawings required for approval before manufacturing - Debris removal: Contractor must remove and dispose of all packaging materials - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Cages must be interconnected and built to precise dimensions - Full wire mesh ceilings with C-Channel stiffeners for two cages - Delivery and installation required within 3 months of contract award - Emphasis on small business participation - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation or attachments.

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN)/REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI) AND NOT A SOLICITATION OR AN INDICATION THAT A CONTRACTUAL COMMITMENT WILL EXIST AS A RESULT OF THIS SSN.

This SSN is in support of market research and procurement planning being conducted by the Management Support Office (MSO) at the United States Department of the Army (DA), Assistant Secretary of the Army (ASA)/Manpower and Reserve Affairs (M&RA)/Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS), G-1, on behalf of the Army Expeditionary Civilian Workforce (AECW) Directorate. This announcement is not a formal Request for Quotes (RFQ). This SSN/RFI is for informational and planning purposes only and does not guarantee that an award will be made. Any quotes submitted in response to this SSN/RFI are not quotes on which an order will be issued.  The Government assumes NO financial responsibility for any costs incurred. A solicitation package is not available at this time. However, should such a requirement materialize, no basis for claims against the DA shall arise as a result of a response to this SSN/RFI or DA’s use of such information either as part of our evaluation process or in developing specifications or work statements for any subsequent requirement.

LOCATION: Camp Atterbury, Indiana 46131

OBJECTIVE: The intent of this SSN/RFI is to gauge industry interest and search for potential sources capable of fulfilling a requirement for supply, deliver, assemble, and arrange various warehouse supply cages*. The SSN/RFI also intends to determine set-aside possibilities for qualified small businesses, veteran-owned small businesses, service-disabled veteran-owned small businesses, HUBZone small businesses, small-disadvantaged businesses, and women-owned small businesses. 

*AECW is currently in the planning stages for this procurement and may continue to modify the requirement, as necessary.
