This opportunity seeks maintenance services for the Giant Voice/Emergency Broadcast System at Buckley Space Force Base, managed by the U.S. Space Force (Buckley SFB, SBD 2/OL MSG/ITF office). - Government Buyer: - U.S. Space Force, Buckley Space Force Base, SBD 2/OL MSG/ITF office - OEMs and Vendors: - Whelen Engineering (WPS-2900 and WPS-2800 cabinets) - Motorola (CM200 radios) - Products/Services Requested: - Maintenance of the Giant Voice Mass Notification System - Includes Whelen WPS-2900 and WPS-2800 cabinets on six towers - Motorola CM200 radios at command posts - Portable control unit - Semiannual preventive maintenance inspections - Emergency repairs with a 2-hour response time - Provision of all necessary parts - Scheduled broadcasts (Reveille, Retreat/National Anthem, Taps) - Estimated 192 hours annually of telecommunications mechanic labor - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Contractor must provide all parts and ensure full system operability - Emergency repair response required within 2 hours - Maintenance includes both fixed and portable system components - Four option years available after the initial one-year period
