Description

Mississippi State Hospital is seeking to contract one family medicine or internal medicine physician to serve as Medical Officer of the Day (MOD). The physician will provide medical care to patients after hours, weekends, and holidays. The contract is for approximately 24 hours per week at a rate of $90 per hour, not exceeding 1,248 hours per year, over a period from September 2, 2026, to June 30, 2030. Applicants must meet credentialing requirements, hold a valid Mississippi medical license, and pass background and drug screenings.
