The Mississippi Department of Archives and History (MDAH) is seeking qualifications for a contractor to perform roof replacement, envelope repairs, window repairs, and foundation repair/masonry work on the Presidents House located on the Historic Jefferson College campus. The scope includes removal of existing wood shingle roof system and replacement with wood shingles and copper flashing; gutter and downspout repair and/or replacement; repair and/or replacement to the existing historic wood siding; repairs to historic wood windows; site drainage improvements; and structural repairs to the historic wood structure and brick piers. Contractors who are prequalified under this process will be requested to submit sealed bids in a separately advertised Request for Bids.
