The State of Hawaii Department of Law Enforcement is seeking quotes for the purchase of one new law enforcement sport utility vehicle (SUV) for use on Oahu. - Government Buyer: - Administrative Services Office - Law Enforcement, State of Hawaii Department of Law Enforcement - OEMs and Vendors: - Toyota is specified as an example OEM (Toyota 4Runner or equivalent) - Equivalent or better vehicles from other OEMs are acceptable - Products/Services Requested: - One (1) 2026 or newer SUV, meeting or exceeding the following specifications: - 4-cylinder engine, minimum 250 horsepower - 4x4 drive system - Automatic transmission with at least 8 forward speeds - Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR) between 5,800 and 7,000 lbs - Wheelbase between 110 and 130 inches - Safety features: dual front airbags, anti-lock brakes, stability control - All-terrain tires (minimum 17-inch rims) - 5-passenger seating, power windows and locks, factory air conditioning - Exterior color: white, black, silver, gray, or other neutral/subdued color - No custom vinyl decals required - Must be delivered fully serviced, operational, and free of recalls - Must comply with all Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards, EPA, ANSI, and OSHA requirements - Manufacturer's standard warranty: 36 months/36,000 miles basic, 60 months/60,000 miles powertrain and corrosion - Unique/Notable Requirements: - Delivery required within 120 days of award - Vehicle must be 2026 model year or newer - All fees and taxes must be included in the quote - Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible offeror
