The University Medical Center of Southern Nevada (UMC) is seeking a contractor for the remodel and tenant improvements of floors 1 (lobby) and 5 of the Summit Tower in Las Vegas, NV. - Project scope includes: - Finish updates, minor electrical and low voltage upgrades - Repairs to damaged areas outside the main scope - Removal, storage, and reinstallation of telemetry antennas, Centrak devices, and wireless access points (with documentation of locations prior to demolition) - Work must be performed after business hours (8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Friday) to minimize disruption to hospital operations - Project duration is 90 days from Notice to Proceed - Contractors must have experience working in operational hospitals and comply with strict infection control, safety, and life safety management protocols - All access controls and fire detection systems must be provided by Honeywell, and any new card readers must integrate with the Honeywell system - Door hardware and paint brands are specified with no substitutions allowed: - Schlage (locksets, rim cylinders, padlocks) - Von Duprin (exit devices, mullions, power supplies) - LCN (door closers, auto operators) - Select (continuous hinges) - Sherwin-Williams (Pro Industrial paint) - Dunn Edwards (Versasatin paint) - Contractors are responsible for all management, supervision, labor, materials (except standard restroom dispensers), tools, equipment, permits, and licenses - Bidders must possess appropriate Nevada contractor licenses and provide all necessary bonds and insurance - Mandatory pre-bid conference required for participation

This Invitation for Bid is for remodeling work primarily on floors one (lobby) and five of UMC's Summit Tower located at 2040 W Charleston Blvd, Las Vegas, NV. The scope includes finish updates, minor electrical and low voltage upgrades, and repairing any damaged areas outside of the scope. Work is scheduled to occur after business hours from 8:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m., Monday through Friday, with a project duration of 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held on June 9, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the project site.
