San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD) is seeking proposals for comprehensive moving and relocation services across its campuses. - Government Buyer: - San Jacinto Community College District (SJCCD), Texas - Scope of Work: - Moving and relocating office furniture, computer workstations, records management systems, laboratory supplies and equipment, boxes, and other office/classroom equipment - Handling of specialty or high-value items such as grand pianos, safes, oversized equipment, laboratory equipment, audiovisual equipment, and gym/fitness equipment - Packing, transport, disassembly and reassembly of furniture, installation of modular systems and metal shelving - Temporary storage solutions, including on-site pallet and trailer storage, and off-site storage (up to 5,000 sq ft) - Coordination with SJCCD IT and facilities staff for sensitive equipment moves - Provision of all necessary supervision, personnel, equipment, vehicles, supplies, and packing materials - Compliance with federal, state, and local codes; strict identification and safety protocols required - Products/Services Requested: - Labor for supervisors, coordinators, movers, packers, drivers, furniture installers, and specialty moving staff (regular and overtime rates) - Rental of trucks (bobtail, tractor/trailer, light truck/van, lift gate), storage units, and moving equipment (dollies, panel carts, packing blankets) - Wide range of packing materials (various box types, anti-static bags, tape, shrink wrap, bubble wrap, labels, floor and wall protection) - Notable Requirements: - Ability to handle and insure specialty/high-value items - Temporary storage with insurance or bonding for stored goods - Firm pricing for initial term; annual adjustments allowed based on labor/product cost indices - Contract term is one year with four one-year renewal options - No specific OEMs or vendors are named in the solicitation.
