Description

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has made final flood hazard determinations for various communities. These determinations may include additions or modifications of Base Flood Elevations (BFEs), base flood depths, Special Flood Hazard Area (SFHA) boundaries or zone designations, or regulatory floodways on the Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMs) and supporting Flood Insurance Study (FIS) reports. The FIRM and FIS reports form the basis of floodplain management measures that communities must adopt or demonstrate to qualify for participation in FEMA's National Flood Insurance Program (NFIP). The date of July 21, 2026, has been established for the new or modified flood hazard information to be effective for each community.
