Description
In accordance with the Native American Graves Protection and Repatriation Act (NAGPRA), the University of Missouri, Museum of Anthropology has completed an inventory of human remains and associated funerary objects. The inventory identified human remains representing at least 54 individuals and 6,440 associated funerary objects from various sites in Arkansas. The University has determined a cultural affiliation between these remains and objects and the Quapaw Nation. Repatriation of these items may occur on or after July 13, 2026.
