Description

The Maritime Administration (MARAD) invites public comments on its intention to request Office of Management and Budget (OMB) approval to renew an information collection related to the Capital Construction Fund (CCF) and Exhibits. This collection is necessary for MARAD to determine an applicant's eligibility to enter a CCF Agreement and ensure compliance with program requirements. The CCF is a tax-deferred ship construction fund designed to assist owners and operators of U.S.-flag vessels in accumulating capital for modernization and expansion. Since the last renewal, there has been a reduction in respondents, responses, and burden hours. Comments are solicited to inform the renewal process.
