Description
This action modifies the Class E airspace area extending upward from 700 feet above the surface at Omak Airport, Omak, WA, to support the safety and management of instrument flight rules (IFR) operations at the airport. The modification includes expanding the central radius of the Class E airspace area by 0.8 miles to better contain IFR departure and missed approach operations, narrowing and extending the airspace east of the airport by 2.2 miles, and extending the southern and southwestern boundaries to 9 and 12 miles respectively to better contain IFR arrival aircraft operating below 1,500 feet above the surface. This is a final rule effective September 3, 2026.
