Description
The Department of Commerce, in accordance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), invites the general public and other Federal agencies to comment on proposed and continuing information collections related to the NOAA Teacher at Sea Program. This program provides educators an opportunity to gain first-hand experience with field research activities aboard ocean-going research vessels, enhancing their marine science literacy and skills. The collection covers the Teacher at Sea Program application, which solicits information from educators and their professional references to select suitable participants. The notice allows for 60 days of public comment before submission to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for approval.
