Description

Wake County, Continuum of Care Lead Agency, is responsible for establishing a White Flag annual response plan in collaboration with the Wake CoC Governing Board. This includes notification of declared White Flag nights and Cooling Centers and the creation of a community-wide plan for severe weather. The awarded vendor(s), in collaboration with the CoC, will establish a White Flag (WF) Response Plan to ensure adequate access to shelter for people experiencing homelessness and coordinate emergency response and communications during cold and severe weather.
